Gigantes win wild one, sink Pirates ship

Pirates don't like their gold getting stolen

Gigantes 6, Bloody Pirates 5: The Pirates came back and tied the game three times Sunday, but it was our Gigantes that had the last laugh, scoring the winning run in the 10th off Freddy “Get Dirty” Sanchez’s sac fly. Timmy got back on track, pitching his first solid outing in his last four, and has seemed to have found his devastating changeup again. Brian Wilson blew his third save of the season in the 9th, giving up a pinch hit homerun to Delwyn “Nine homeruns in his last three seasons” Young to tie it at 5. The Giants offense came alive in this series win, scoring 15 runs in the three games. The Gmen had 12 hits in this game, with four batters collecting two hits apiece. The Pirates will search the seas for more gold, having been plundered by the Giants of San Francisco.
