Gigantes lose second game vs Bluebirds

Bored and delirious, Big Daddy Cain lost the game on this pitch

Bluebirds 3, Gigantes 0: It was a thoroughly boring game that left this blogger asleep on the couch and drooling at one point (no, not because I have barbecues and drink on Saturday afternoons, I am shocked that you would say that…utterwy schwocked). When I woke up, it was still 0-0 in the bottom of the eighth with one out to go. But Big Daddy Cain could only hold on so much longer, giving up a two-run homer to Aaron “Little Ant” Hill that put the game out of reach. The Gigantes had four total hits in the game, with no more than one hit in any one inning. Sorry there was no recap for the first game of the series, our dog ate it…as re-enacted by the Olsen Twins in truly horrific fashion.
