Golden State Warriors: The Sun, It Burns

The Dubs have been reduced to closing their eyes and hoping the ball goes in now

Phoenix Suns 112, Dubs 88: Just think, if we didn’t play the Suns this week, we’d be 1-0.

Of course, that’s not the reality us Dubs fans live in, getting beat twice this week by Steve Nash and the Suns to fall to 23-29.

Just a day after beating Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets, the Dubs came out cold in Phoenix. Monta, who had 37 points the night before, had 8 points this time on 4-of-13 shooting and Dorell Wright went 1-for-9.

However, on the bright side, our first-round draft pick Ekpe Udoh played 30 minutes, scoring 16 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. He shot 8-for-12. Way to go Udoh! You’re my hero!

Of course, Stevie Nash scoffed at Udoh, scoring 18 points and dishing out 11 assists in the game. On the bright side, he did have 7 turnovers. Looks like he has a new hair style, too.

The Dubs play Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunderbirds on Sunday. God help us.
